HA Vandercook’s Trombone Gems collection for Trombone and Piano is a collection of his intermediate solos for trombone in one place. I have always felt like there is a very large hole in the trombone repertoire right around the beginner-intermediate solo area. If you have a narrow range and are looking for solo pieces you are out of luck. I am very excited to have found these solos and to make them available digitally so that parents and teachers can get their students performing and getting comfortable on stage.
