The enthusiastic reception given our first group of instrumental books has encouraged us to prepare and offer this new collection of pieces.

Again we feel that we have managed to assemble a list of worthwhile compositions of widely contrasting types that will appeal toyoung instrumentalists and to adult hobbyists.

Like the earlier books, these may be used for solo playing with piano accompaniment; also as duets with like or unlike instruments, or in mixed groups.

Many of the melodies are here presented in a carefully abridged and somewhat simplified form, making them more suitable for playing by those with only a moderate amount of musical experience.
