Pluvinage was the horn professor at the great Royal Liege Conservatory, and while he was there, he wrote a two part method meant to be used by beginners on the trumpet, bugle, or horn. qPress has translated the foreword material so that newcomers can understand what he was doing when he wrote it, and how young players should proceed.
Most methods get TOO HARD TOO FAST. This book is a rare exception. The first half of the book is in C major only! This is so players can work on fingering and tone production without being bogged down with keys. The second half of the book explores new keys and takes players to the next level. This was originally published as two separate books, but we have combined them to get the price down and make one complete method.
