Victor Cornette’s Six Concert Duets for Trombone has been available in a variety of forms over the last century. Originally included only in his grand method for trombone, these were eventually excerpted from the larger work as a stand alone volume. I agree with this idea for a few reasons. 1: it allows this fantastic collection of duets to be available at a low price; 2: it makes the duets easier to carry around to a hang with your trombone friends; 3: at nearly 35 pages it is longer than many trombone duet books on its own!
