Albert Neibig’s 26 Duets for Two Trumpets is a wonderful set of technically challenging duets that do not go into the extreme upper register, making them perfect for intermediate to advanced players looking for a challenging and fun book of duos. This edition has the Trumpet 1 and Trumpet 2 parts as separate books, which signifies to me that they are intended to be played as concert duets for performance.

These make great fodder for masterclasses, recitals, and studio lessons and sit very well among the established duet books that you might have hanging around (that might be starting to get a bit stale). I have included the first two duets for free in the samples, give them a try!
