John Barnes Chance (1932-1972) wrote his Concerto for Trumpet and Band for Doc Severinsen in 1972. The work was premiered on May 5, 1972. This was Chance’s last composition before his untimely passing and was never published until now. Beautifully engraved and edited by John Laverty, this edition is complete with an 11 x 17 conductor’s score and 8.5 x 11 performance parts in one convenient file ready for immediate digital download.
