40 Studies in Syncopation, written by Harry Huffnagle falls perfectly in line with the rest of their method book catalogue. As with the rest of their books, it is has a singular focus, in this case to help players practice their syncopation by playing engaging and challenging jazz music for trumpet.
These guys do a great job of keeping the music challenging, without having such a high range it is not playable. Instead, as the studies go on, the rhythms and intervals get more complex, but all of the notes should still be reachable. I absolutely love this type of book for my studio!
