Franz Blatt was a German clarinettist and composer. All of his etudes and exercises originally intended for clarinet and oboe have been transcribed and re-arranged for trumpet for a few very good reasons. 1: They are fun to play, challenging, musical, and interesting, and 2: because the ranges of these instruments are so similar that you will think these were written expressly for the trumpet.
These etudes you see here are technical and melodic in nature, and they are guaranteed to test your musicality as much as your virtuosity.
If you have never tried these before, grab your horn and play the first page in the samples. I am sure you will click above and grab an immediate PDF download after you do!
