Valse Sentimentale Op.51, No.6 is one of Peter Tchaikovsky’s most beloved works. The music has been arranged for many different ensembles and combinations of instruments, but this one is out favourite.
The music is not too technically challenging, but does require a range of concert A above the staff. There are no particularly fast rhythms to contend with, however a successful performance will require the flexibility to gracefully ascend and descend the eighth note passages.
