Charles Colin’s “Trumpet Technical Studies” is a graded series of 16 studies designed to develop finger flexibility as well as tongue and finger coordination. The exercises are to be played in all keys and in a variety of articulations: legato, single, double and triple tongue. From the patterns set forth in the studies, Dr. Charles Colin has developed fifteen virtuosic etudes.
