David Gornston’s full method series is broken up into three books. Book 1, “The Very First Trombone Method” is a great primer that is as delightful as it is fundamentally correct. Inside you find tons of melody, interval study, chord and chord progression exercises, as well as the beginnings of transposition. All of this is very easy, very gradual, and never boring for young players.
