Methode Tres-facile pour la Trompette By E. Guilbaut

Guilbaut is best known for his editing of many of today’s grand methods, including the Forestier method and a version of the Arban’s Complete Conservatory Method. He did, in fact, write trumpet study books of his own, including this beginning trumpet method and a three books of trumpet etudes.

This french language method covers all of the basics of reading and tone production from the beginning and escalates quickly to articulation, slurring, and etudes. Don’t let the french language put you off, only the first 6 pages contain text, then it is all studies for the rest of the way. Have a look at the samples to get an idea of what you are in for, then grab an immediate PDF download above.

Note: The speckles in the final edition are from the special type of fabric paper this book was printed on, very common in its day.
