If you are unfamiliar with this massive 300+ page grand method you are in for such a treat. I wish I could go through this method again for the first time. It is very similar in style to books like the Arban in its approach, but it differs in one significant way. Forestier was more interested in showing you a concept then letting you explore it with the use of etudes and duets before moving on to the next concept. It is very similar to St. Jacome in that way. These 300 pages are full of creative and useful duets and etudes that challenge and inspire players at all levels.

This is the original french edition, as you can see from the samples. Only the first selection of pages in Volume 1 are text, so trumpet players from all areas of the globe can use this method effectively.
