This German language Arban Method was edited with new annotations by Wilhelm Wendt, former principal trumpet of the Vienna Philharmonic. Released in four separate volumes (with the complete 4 volume set included in a purchase here at qPress), Wendt took the time to break down each area of the book with some ideas about how to practice it. Using his experiences a principal player in one of the most revered brass sections of all time as a guide, Wendt is able to augment the exercises with valuable instructions, and also adds a few extra studies for advancing player as well.
