This book by JB Faulx was originally published under the French title “25 Etudes Progressives de moyenne difficulte.” Though he is hardly known in North America, these etudes should be a staple in every trumpeter’s library. They are perfect for students at all levels and for seasoned professionals who are looking for some new material to play through after their old studies start to grow stale. They are idiomatic and fun to play with musical as well as technical challenges.
