This fantastic new translation of Forestier’s “24 Progressive Conversational Duets for Two Trumpets” has been two years in the making. Translated by Kelsey Anderson, edited by Timothy Quinlan, and engraved by John Laverty, this 4 book collection of duets has not been seen in over 150 years and has never been available in English, until now!
The duets in this book are not just lovely tunes. Each one has an instruction in the beginning explaining exactly why it was written for the instrument and what you should be trying to achieve. Each part has specific challenges, and it is recommended that players, teachers, and students switch up the top and bottom parts to get the most value possible from the writing.
This was originally published as 4 separate books, but has been re-engraved and compiled together into one larger book to suit modern sensibilities and ease of use. That also means that we are able to offer it at a discount at launch to all of our day one supporters. Want more translations and re-engravings? Then grab this launch deal so we know to keep it up!
