This collection of representative works from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods provides a repertoire of music appropriate for concerts, festivals and competitions for brass groups of varying instrumentation. The musical selections afford an opportunity for the players to become familiar with the techniques of performance inherent in a variety of musical styles.

The original compositions have been transposed to practical keys, when necessary, and have been arranged in a 4-part texture amenable to performance by either a small or a large ensemble. You will receive one file ready for double sided printing with a full score and parts set. The distribution of voices and parts is below, as well as the song list:

Songs:  Burgmuller “Ave Maria”; Schumann “Norse Song”; Tchaikovsky “March”; Kuhnau “Gavotte”; Mozart “Andante Grazioso”; Beethoven “Andante”; Hassler “Allegro”; Heller “Scherzo”; Chopin “Mazurka”; Fischer “Ricercare.” Excellent for sectional rehearsals and contest performance!
